Blockchain 48 hours Hackathon 2017

Hello everyone!

As you may know, the Blockchain Hackathon took place in Moscow with the support of EncryptoTel. Graduates of the Binary District 9-week “Blockchain Developer” course attempted to complete tasks given by us and other partners of the event.
They were given 48 hours to prepare a presentation of their project, justification of their decisions and a working prototype.

CEO Roman Nekrasov and our director of innovation Andrey Chmora came up with a quite challenging objective that was given to teams №6 and №10.
In short, their tasks were:
1. Implement a service to include a new block in the block based on the weighted confidence metric.
2. Implement a collateral security mechanism based on blockchain technology.

I would especially like to highlight team №10 for their responsibility and professional approach that fully satisfied not only our requirements but also impressed judges from Ergo Platform, Binary District, Blockchain Institute, VEB Bank and Waves Platform. Their performance was amazing and it was decided to give them our 50000 ETT award and also an offer to attend an internship in the company.

To sum it up, this event was a showcase of great capabilities, excellent skills and huge potential of developers in Russia. It was very pleasing to see so many talented people interested in blockchain technology. It left us with a warm feeling of confidence that blockchain future is ever so bright.
