EncryptoTel Guidelines: Storage
We are launching a new cycle of materials in which we will introduce the capabilities of our virtual PBX EncryptoTel with a higher degree of confidentiality in more detail. Today’s instruction is about storing information in the system. We will show how to upload data files, how much information you can store and how we provide this very high level of privacy, which our team is so proud of.
The EncryptoTel system allows you to store both audio recordings created during conversations made from the accounts of our virtual PBX, and third-party audio files that can be downloaded to the system for secure storage.
To record conversations made from phone numbers that are tied to personal EncryptoTel accounts, you must activate this service through the Dashboard. To do this, go to the Extensions tab -> Edit -> Call record.
The service is activated separately for each internal number. So, we can record conversations on one of two extension numbers attached to our internal number, and on the internal number attached to external number.
This unit records incoming and outgoing conversations. By default, the user is given the opportunity to store a certain number of minutes of incoming and outgoing calls for free. The amount of free storage depends on the selected tariff. If it is necessary to store more information than offered by default, the user can purchase additional storage packages, for example, 300 minutes or more. The user can also delete existing records of incoming and outgoing calls, thereby freeing up space for storing new records.
To listen to recorded conversations, go to the Details and Records tab and click on the play icon to the right from the desired conversation. The user can also download the record in the mp3 format.
All records are stored in an encrypted form in secure vaults.
In addition to recording conversations, users can upload their own audio files. We accept uploads in mp3, ogg, wav formats. To upload, go to the Storage section and click Upload.
The amount of possible stored information is limited to 100–200 megabytes, depending on the tariff. Audio recordings loaded into Storage are intended for use in voice greetings in an interactive voice menu (IVR) system or for creating rules for individual numbers (Call Rules).
As in the case of recording conversations, audio recordings in Storage are also stored in an encrypted form and in secure vaults, which ensures the highest level of security for the company’s communication system.
